March 2011 Recap

Here's what we were up to in March 2011:

Scott requested a monkey cake (a la Curious George) for his 3rd birthday, so I made him this one.

It was also my birthday as well, so we had a big party at the Barrus house.

We had freak snow storm, so we made a snowman.

But never fear, in a few days, the snowman looked like this.
Do you like Scott's bare feet? I love mild Utah winters.

Brandon had a test done to try to diagnose some brain function/memory issues he was having.

He had to have lots of electrodes in his head and carry around that pack with lots of cords.

I sewed Caleb some waterproof cloth diaper covers made of PUL (the upcycled wool ones I made awhile back were just not cutting it anymore).

Scott liked to play pretend laptop.

We went to the Discovery Museum in downtown Salt Lake with Jack and Avey and Brooke.

The dog house was right on Caleb's level.

 We had a great time.

We also liked playing at home in our rented duplex in Sandy.

But after all that fun, the boys were zonked. :)

For $10 and change...

...I'll take it.

I'm grateful for Brooke who showed my how truly simple it is to use grocerysmarts.com; for Brandon, who persevered when our printer wouldn't communicate with our computers; and for Caleb, who is an angel baby, even during late-night Smith's runs.

Also, Caleb, not content in learning to crawl in the last two weeks, has begun to pull himself up on furniture and walk, assisted. He's eight. Months. Old. I'm so not ready for this.
